I'm not sure what prompted this topic, but I liked the idea of showing my gratitude for the little things in life that make me happy. So here we go:
snuggling with my boys
pomegranates
playing softball (and hitting it over the unsuspecting left fielders head)
asian pears
sitting on the heater vent with a blanket over me (I call it my "heat cave")
long john garments
slushes
talking to my Mom on the phone
hearing Ethan and Boston laugh
wearing hats
going to the temple
french fries
being right
a warm summer day (but not too hot!)
big league chew bubble gum (for the 10 seconds that the flavor lasts, it's heaven. am I old school?)
the smell of vanilla
seeing the projects Ethan brings home from school
watching Pride and Prejudice
fishing with my Dad
clean sheets
laughing and making plans with my husband
long, hot showers
road trips (as long as there are no fleas at the place we stay)
listening to Boston babble
playing the piano
Keith Urban music
hearing Ethan tell me he loves me about 100 times a day
taking naps
watching Jazz games (mostly when they're winning)
watching Ethan dance and get excited over something
scrapbooking (when I find the time)
watermelon
wearing comfy sweaters
the way my babes smell right after a bath
teasing my husband
That's all I can think of right at this second, but I'm sure that I could come back in an hour and double this list......and maybe I will. I love all of these things and most of all I love my cute little family. I look at them every day and realize that I am most definitely blessed!
