Meet Max

This is Max.

Max is a Mini Schnauzer. Max is my neighbors dog, and he is awesome. You've never met a dog that is so laid back and patient....especially around intimidating toddlers with fingers looking for little eyes to poke and willing to give dogs open mouth kisses.

Max would literally sit there and let Boston touch and poke and pet him until Boston finally got bored and moved on. From the moment Max came to stay with us, my boys were in love.

Unfortunately for them, Max's stay was for only 5 days...(and fortunately for me, his stay was only 5 days. He was a great dog...but it just reminded me that pets are just like having another child to take care of.) Fortunately, again, we get to watch Max every once in a while and we can get our fill of him then. I personally did have fun with him though. He would follow me around the house...if I sat down, he would find a comfy place by my feet to lay and wait for me to move again. I also couldn't help but call him something different every time I called him. His name is too easy to play with.
MAXimus
MAXamillion
MAXi pad
MAX factor
Gluteus MAXimus
MAXimum
and so on...
We had fun with Max. He's welcomed back anytime.

Oh he's cute! I didn't know you guys were dog-sitting. That's awesome he's so good with kids - most of the schnauzers I've met are kind of snappy. The Boston kissing picture is great too. :)

Dogs are definitely hard...But he sounds like a great one! Good thing it was only temporary - those are the best kind of dogs to have! And if you ever think you're ready to finally get a dog, just dog-sit again and it will cure you. :)

Loved the photos.
